
OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky has died at 43 after a “long battle with cancer.”
A spokesperson for the company announced Radvinsky’s death on Monday, saying, “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky.
“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer,” the statement continued. “His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”
The Ukrainian-American billionaire is survived by wife Katie Radvinsky and their four children.
Leonid, who kept his private life out of the spotlight, became the owner of OnlyFans in 2018 when he acquired its parent company, Fenix International Limited.
At the time of the entrepreneur’s death, he was the director and the majority shareholder.
The subscription-based adult entertainment platform, notably, was founded by father-son pair Guy Stokely and Tim Stokely in 2016.
Its star-studded list of top creators includes Bella Thorne, Cardi B and more.
Last year, Reuters reported that Leonid was in talks to sell OnlyFans to an investor group at a valuation of around $8 billion.
In addition to owning OnlyFans, Leonid was an angel visitor in many other companies, describing himself as a “venture capital investor, philanthropist, and technology entrepreneur” via LinkedIn.
He was born in Odesa, but relocated from Ukraine and grew up in Chicago.
Leonid earned graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University in 2002.
