Blood found in Savannah Guthrie’s missing mom Nancy’s home: report插图

New details continue to emerge in the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy Guthrie.

The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday morning that authorities found blood inside the home of Nancy, although it’s unclear whose it is.

Law enforcement sources also confirmed to the outlet that there were signs of forced entry, further raising concerns that she was the victim of foul play.

Nancy was initially reported missing from her Tucson, Ariz., home on Feb. 1 after she failed to show up at church that morning.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, she was last seen the previous night around 9:30 p.m. when she was dropped off at her Catalina Foothills home following a dinner with Savannah’s sister, Annie Guthrie. She is thought to be the last person to see her before her disappearance.

During an initial press conference, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed they were doing a thorough search of the area. However, they had involved homicide detectives after finding a scene at the house that raised “some concern for us as well.”

At the time, Savannah shared a statement with her “Today” show co-hosts that read, “On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support. Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom.

“We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.”

By Monday, Nanos confirmed they were dealing with a “crime scene,” explaining that “[Nancy] did not leave on her own” and the “circumstances on scene […] are suspicious in nature.”

He also pointed out that there was no chance of Nancy wandering away on her own, as she was “sharp as a tack.” However, she had physical limitations that made walking more than 50 yards on her own difficult.

At the time, Nanos pleaded for her safe return as she needed daily medication to ensure her survival.

Monday night, a spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department told Page Six that investigators believe Nancy was “taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night.”

“That includes possible kidnapping or abduction,” the spokesperson added.

After skipping out on Monday’s “Today” show to travel to Arizona, Savannah is said to be pulling out from hosting the Winter Olympics.

Sources told Page Six exclusively that the 54-year-old likely won’t travel to Italy until her mom is found, stating, “There’s no way Savannah will be there.”

On Tuesday, she also took to social media to beg her followers to “please pray” for her mother.

In a lengthy caption, the journalist wrote, “we believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. we believe in goodness. we believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him.”

She continued, “Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant.

“Raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment,” the NBC personality continued. “we need you.”

She went on to share a Bible verse, reading, “He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.”

Savannah added, “A verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us.”
