5 Best Netflix Movies to Watch Before They Leave This Weekend (February 2026)

The film may be called Bram Stoker’s Dracula, but director Francis Ford Coppola and screenwriter James V. Hart took some big liberties with the original text by giving Dracula (Gary Oldman) an origin and a romantic story. Centuries ago, Dracula lost his wife, Elisabeta (Winona Ryder), and renounced God. In the 19th century, the immortal vampire meets Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves) and discovers that Harker’s bride-to-be, Mina Murray (Ryder), may be a reincarnation of Elisabeta.

That doesn’t stop Dracula from tormenting and seducing Mina’s friend, Lucy Westenra (Sadie Frost). As Lucy and Mina begin to submit to the vampire’s curse, Professor Abraham Van Helsing (Anthony Hopkins) emerges as the only man who may be able to help Jonathan and the rest save their souls.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is streaming on Netflix through February 28.
