Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi isn’t so sure Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is ready to transition from reality TV to politics.
“I don’t know where this came from. I feel like he said something,” Nicole, 38, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while celebrating the relaunch of her and Joey Camasta’s podcast, “It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey,” which premiered with podcast network The Volume and sponsor Hard Rock Bet on Wednesday, June 10. “Maybe it was from his Archangel’s opening because I remember him up there, and we were all like, ‘He looks like a politician’ with his suit and how he was talking and I was like, ‘What is going on?’”
Last month, Mike, 43, did in fact make headlines when he seemingly hinted at a possible future in politics.
“I’d like to save lives for the next three to five years with Archangel Centers,” he told local New Jersey news outlet News 12 when referencing his evidence-based addiction and mental health treatment organization. “I’d like to have an Archangel’s Center in every 50 states [sic], and after that, you know, I will introduce everybody to Governor Situation.”

When asked if Mike has her vote, Nicole joked that it’s far too soon to talk elections with her longtime costar and friend.

“I don’t know if he’s actually doing that, but I feel like he’s entertaining it,” she said. “I’ll always support Mike, but I don’t know if he’s actually running.”
Nicole’s podcast cohost pointed out that fellow reality TV star Spencer Pratt recently tried his hand at politics when he ran for mayor of Los Angeles. (The Hills alum ultimately didn’t receive enough votes to earn a spot in the general election this November)
“I didn’t realize how studious [Mike] could be,” Joey, 47, shared. “I think he’s very dedicated. Mike can turn his life around and turn to the Archangel Center, where he’s opened and put all his dedication into it. There’s nothing he can’t do. I think if anyone can do it, it would be him.”

Before Nicole and Joey hit the campaign trail for Mike or any candidate, the pair are celebrating the relaunch of their new podcast.
